Filmmaking Workshop To Return Late Summer

Kelley Baker's Angry Filmmaker Workshop returns to Fredericksburg in the fall 2012 ( venue, dates and times TBA) for a two-day event. The event will be free for pre-registered participants, and sponsored by the Fredericksburg Athenaeum and its partners. 

Mr. Baker is an independent filmamker and author whose workshops in filmmaking are feature events at film festivals and schools throughout the country. This will be the fifth year that the Angry Filmmaker workshop has been a part of Fredericksburg's summer cultural programming. 

More information about this special event and the scheduled topics for discussion will be announced in June.

Summer Music Program Welcomes Willie Nelson, Bruce Hornsby, The Wailers and Others


 

Fredericksburg's own summer music festival, Celebrate Virginia Live, is back for a fourth season of great music and outdoor fun, featuring classic acts such as Willie Nelson and Bruce Hornsby, to newcomers and rising stars like, The Band Perry. 

Celebrate Virginia Live, under the guidance of David Peterson of Seven Hills Presents, has become a summer habit bringing a national profile to Fredericksburg arts.
